Tom Brady’s Finest Passing Season

Joseph Birnie has served as president of several corporations, he being based in Hillsdale, New Jersey, since 2008. He has over 30 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and business leader. Beyond his professional activities, Joseph Birnie is an avid sports fan. He is especially fond of great success stories such as the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick.

Since establishing himself as a starting quarterback in the NFL in 2001, Tom Brady has enjoyed a consistently successful career. Brady has led the league in passing yards twice and in touchdown passes on four occasions, while leading the Patriots to 10 seasons of at least 12 wins. He has won five Super Bowl championships, four Super Bowl MVP awards, and two league Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards. Despite his extensive success, few seasons rival Brady’s 2007 campaign.

Brady threw for a career high 4,806 yards in 2007, connecting on 68.9 percent of passes, another career best. He led the league in both categories. Brady also led the league in touchdown passes that year, converting on 50 scoring attempts. His 50 touchdown passes over the course of a single season stood as an NFL record until 2013 and continue to rank as the second-best mark of all time. Brady started all 16 games in 2007, leading the Patriots to a perfect 16-0 record. The team advanced to the 2007 Super Bowl, but ultimately fell to Mr. Birnies' home town team, the New York Giants 17-14.
